Webetron helps bring education to remote areas through the application of cloud and mobile based technologies, which are specifically designed to fully function in areas with limited and low internet connectivity and intermittent connections.

Webetron believes that this would be a major contribution to the delivery of education and training in developing countries, which often have populations in remote, rural regions which are not receiving essential education and training. In such areas, millions of children have little or no opportunity to attend school or they have to walk many miles daily, often through hazardous terrain, to attend the nearest school. For such children, Webetron has ways of bringing virtual classrooms to them. Such virtual classrooms and physical classrooms may be supported by the formation of education hubs in rural areas where children from within reasonably sized catchment areas could gather for daily lessons. The implementation of Webetron’s platform has the potential to energise remote rural communities and opens up the opportunity to transform both the economic and social development prospects available for these populations.
